Registration is open for BIMF and associated events from 11 - 15 June 2012 at Kirstenbosch .
Exciting features of the programme include:
- A keynote address by Professor Jon Hutton of the UNEP World Conservation Monitoring Centre
- The launch of the citizen science portal iSpot southern Africa
- Data fitness for use training by Arthur Chapman of the Australian Biodiversity Information Services
- BGIS training
- Updates on the UWC research hub launched by the Deputy Minister of Science and Technology
Registration for the Data Fitness for Use training by Arthur Chapman closes on 25 May and registration for the BIMF closes on 31 May. The BGIS training is very popular and operates on a first come first served basis, so register soon.
