Karoo Desert NBG Education: Stakeholder Engagement

The Biodiversity Education work done in Worcester has resulted in good relationships being formed with the Cape Winelands Education Department as well as the Breede Valley Municipality. The Cape Winelands Education Department has made access to the schools so much easier and supported our teacher professional development initiatives.

With the Breede Valley Municipality we trained municipal workers and in turn the municipality supplied the schools with stones and trees for their indigenous gardens. We have committed to continue these good partnerships in 2011.
