Lowveld Education: Stakeholder engagement

Partnership

Throughout all the programmes partnership is crucial. From the inception of these programmes in the Lowveld BEE centre partnership was formed with the Department of  Education. It was later expanded to other Governmental Departments, NGOs and private sector companies. The Botanical Society played a big role in furnishing the centre and SAPPI adopted the resource centre and furnished it with furniture and books/educational material.

New partnerships are essential for educational programmes to flourish. The province has established a forum for all environmental stakeholders and the BEE centre is part of that forum.
