Lowveld NBG Education

What we do ?

Biodiversity Education and Empowerment Centre at Lowveld NBG is responsible for the following programmes:

  • Biodiversity Education
  • Greening
  • Capacity Development
  • Awareness Raising initiatives
  • Stakeholder engagement

Where we work?

All these programmes are planned and facilitated for the Mpumalanga province schools and communities.

Reason for our programmes

To achieve SANBI's mandate - see SANBI's Education overview.

What we have achieved?

Since its inception the centre has achieved much in all the programmes. All programmes have been successfully executed and well received by Mpumalanga departments, NGOs, private sectors and communities at large. This is evidenced by attracting schools into the Garden for learning, competitions won by schools that are greened by SANBI and the growth of stakeholder involvement in our programmes.

How you can contribute?

Sponsor a bus for learners or contribute towards the development of an indigenous or vegetable garden at schools.
